We are looking for volunteers to work with students in local elementary schools to improve their reading and comprehension skills. As a Read With Me volunteer you will work with students one-on-one or in small groups to assist with pronunciation, comprehension and other skills needed for students to achieve educational success.
Teachers will work closely with you and be present in the classroom when you are there. Read with Me volunteers are asked to commit to a set schedule of at least one hour each week for several months.
Volunteers will receive an orientation regarding policies along with information about their role and their assigned school.
